Gentlemen,

This is a semi-urgent issue for me as I am now unable to use my equipment.

My LS will not connect to the T2. Any thoughts on procedure for diagnosing the problem.

Which software version did you use? What is the symptom? Did you update to the latest version of TRIUMPH-LS software?

Jim often times clearing the NVRAM on the T2 will fix this.

Also note the color of the Bluetooth LED light like Vladimir mentioned. Turn the radio off when you observing it, otherwise it will be blue indicating the connection to the radio.

Thank you all for the rapid reply.

I am in the process of updating the software now. Prior to the current update I believe I was using the latest versions.

Win CE 7.0.54.1
JField 1.10.3.22066

Yesterday I attempted initiate a new survey in the field. I went through my normal procedure of setting up the T2, 1 watt radio and LS. I created a new project, selected the setup screen and then selected the setup base/rover setup. I then tapped connect and received a message about 30 seconds later "Can't connect to GNSS receiver". I restarted the equipment and tried again several times with no success.

This morning I setup in the office and received the same error message. I have been on vacation and don't recall precisely when I was experimenting with RAMS however when I selected remote assistance the LS was connected to 52.5.53.3. I disconnected and tried to setup the base with no success.

The Bluetooth light on the T2 was illuminated and the LS indicated "connected" in the Bluetooth configuration screen. I also had UHF on.

I will try again after the update and clearing NVRAM.

Updated software and cleared NVRAM.

UHF radio off.

No connection to T2.

When the LS attempts to connect to the T2 the Bluetooth LED (on the T2) alternates between blue and red a few times, ending in solid red.

I tried clearing NVRAM a second time and was able to connect!

There is no doubt in my mind that this system of support is the best in the industry. After a few days out of town it is imperative that I use the equipment today - all of you have helped me salvage my project timeline.

Thanks again.
