LS will not update

I have had an issue with the LS updating. I was able to perform a power board 'force' update but none of the other parameters will update. The LS stays in a "Gathering Information" status. This morning it was still in the "Gathering Information" status. I had to do a hard reboot.

The issue also involves where I cannot connect to the radio, it no longer has an option for the 401bt radio, it only gives me option for the "HPT901BT/AW900BT" , And since I have the 401bt, it will not connect.

I have no connection and no corrections. Dead in the water.

I would recommend that you connect your LS to a PC and copy the entire VS Data folder to your computer. This should include all of your projects and settings (make sure this is the case). Then you will need to create a factory recovery microSD. Select from the Downloads found on this page:

http://www.javad.com/jgnss/products/receivers/triumph-ls.html

You need to make sure that you use a separate microSD card from the one you use in the LS. You will be creating a bootable installation disk, so it will need to be dedicated for this purpose.

Give the download plenty of time to take place. Use a PC with Windows7 or below (installer doesn't currently work for Windows8 as I understand).

This will wipe your LS completely clean and install the software from the SD card. You will then need to remove the card before powering up as it will install the software every time it is booted up.
 
Thanks for the info Shawn Billings. I did everything as directed. I have done a full functional factory reset. Was able to restore my projects and restore back from the microSD card that was originally in the LS. Also performed a TR2 update and cleared the NVRAM. Still same issue of not being able to pick up the 401BT radio. It is only showing 901BT. See attached screen captures. Thanks for all your help.

Xavier, how did you get version 20532 of J-Field? This was only released as a test version. Was this what was installed after the factory restore?

If by tomorrow we would not have solution for you, we would ship you advanced replacement unit and continue to investigate your unit in the lab.

Matt: I was unaware of the version for J-Field. Must have been installed from the factory restore.

If you go into the update screen now does it show the updates as being previous versions (lower numbers)?
