Has anyone used a micro SD card in their T1M and had it to successfully store the base files? My internal memory filled up again yesterday. It's only taking 20 or so files now to fill it up since the file size is so much bigger. I finally got a micro Sd card this morning and inserted it into the slot on the bottom of the T1M. I then connected via NetView and toggled to a spot where I could switch "memory to use for storage" and selected "external" as it was on internal. After this it did a reboot of the unit and I went back to the receiver settings expecting my used/total numbers under memory to be showing my 32gb SD card but it still shows only 256mb which is what I think is in the internal memory.
I first formatted the SD card to FAT32 and when that didn't seem to work I tried exFAT but still get the same thing. It just doesn't seem to recognize the card.
I was out this morning and collected a new base file and it still stored it on the internal memory of the T1M, not the SD card even though I'd switched the setting to external through NetView.
There must be something simple I'm missing here to get the 1M to store the base files on this Sd card.
