Migrate to Linux

I am migrating to Linux. My screen locks up on me. Right now it is locked up at: Backuping Data from USB stick. The cancel button is blue color, but will not respond to cancel. It says 0 of 0 downloaded at 0:00:31. It earlier locked up at archiving, so I started whole process over. The USB is 32 GB and formatted 32 FAT. The Speaker icon button or Home button or On/off button does not respond. Phil

Hi Phil, put your unit on RAMS and connect USB flash. Also, can you take a picture of the stick and send. Please check that USB stick has single primary partition formatted as fat32.

Eugene, Just so you know I am computer challenged at times. I emailed a picture of what is on the USB. I am not know how to send you a picture using this reply. It was brand new USB. I did not take anything off of it that came with it, Sandisk. I do not know how to put my unit in RAMS mode and LS is still froze on Backuping Data from USB stick. There is a migration folder on USB, but nothing in it that I can see. My first try this morning I got hung up at archives at 8.5 percent. It set there for 20 minutes. I took USB out of LS and put in my laptop. I deleted the Migration Folder, because the Migration program would not let me continue. Then I put back in LS, and then it froze on Backuping Data from USB and there was no folder because I deleted it from the USB Phil

Getting mixed up. What the USB had on it is as below:

Folder JfiledLinuxMigration
Folder SandiskSecureAccess
Folder VS Data
Icon BackupFilesToCloud 395 kb
Icon Run Sandisk Secure Access 115650 kb

The five subfolders in JFieldLinuxMigration, only show 1 KB in one of the folders for calibration of something. If I could get the screen to unfreeze, then I think I could get back to starting point, and decide whether to try this again.

I see RAMS in not a option when I am locked up. I got teamviewer loaded. They have a id number for javad gnss support and a password. The number is 1 253 978 546. The password is hidden by stars.

I think all you need to do is check the USB stick, and put rescue data on it for me to put USB stick back in LS. I am mixed up
