I shouldn't say "gone", just not installed yet. I can browse the contents of the USB drive, so I imagine that they are stored there somewhere and can be reinstalled. I await your instructions for how to do so.
Do restore data on migration screen.

Looks like all my codes, coordinate systems, settings, profiles, etc. are gone.

You need to complete step 5:

Also insert the SD card back into the LS before doing this.

I inserted the SD card back into the LS and pressed the Restore Data button. Now I get No USB stick is detected! Please check that USB stick is inserted and formatted with FAT32. I could browse the files on the USB stick earlier, but now I don't see it. System Root only has SD Card and Internal Memory. Should I try to reboot?

I wiggled the connector on the USB drive and checked again and the USB drive appeared in the Root directory. I clicked the Restore button and now it's restoring!

It finished restoring and rebooted. It restored projects, but not codes, profiles, coordinate systems, white buttons, etc. Everything is metric.

If you can, connect your LS to Remote Support and leave it connected overnight. Keep the USB drive with the mitigation files installed in it too.

I migrated my L.S. last night. following the easy procedure that was setup:) I had a minor glitch when I went to restore my data.
Right before it finished restoring the screen went black. I pressed the home screen and got back to the system screen. Apparently it did not finish the restore because my settings and profiles were missing. I rebooted and nothing came back so I started the restore again and the second time it went all the way through that, and I rebooted as per the instructions.
Now I have everything restored right down to the receiver details and wireless network settings.
The only issue so far was my RTN setting was set to RTN stop and my RTN mount point was changed. All in all everything went very well.
I am NOT experiencing the issue where the LS boots up and then the screen goes blank like others. I have not been to the field yet but the L.S. is much more responsive and boots up and shuts down much faster.
I want to thank Eugene, Javad, and all that worked on this for making it as easy and painless as possible.
Absolutely awesome!!!!!!!! Thank you.

This is just a bug with the screen saver being active after booting. You may have the "Turn Off Display" setting set to never. I believe this has already been fixed in the Testing version of J-Field.

I’m on a second attempt here.
This is the screen I have gotten twice.

It was about 30 min into it. Everything seemed to be going fine both downloads had steady progress.

What if I have a usb stick that the LS can see when I goto import/export points but when i goto migrate it has a message "No usb stick detected!" It is formatted with Fat32 and doesn't have an active partition. I do have an option to make an active partition so I would think it doesn't have one.
