[JAVAD Support]

NetView is a Windows application for status monitoring, testing, and easy configuration of JAVAD GNSS Receiver products (with the exception of Triumph-LS+ that uses JFIELD).

GNSS Receiver Key Features​

• GNSS Receiver Connections:
  • Serial or USB
  • Bluetooth
  • TCP/IP (Ethernet port or Wi-Fi adapter)
  • Secure TCP/IP (SSL/TSL)
• OAF: load / update GNSS receiver configuration - from website or from an Option Authorization File <-- Required for customers receiving a new JAVAD GNSS receiver.
• Satellite display: total number and status of all visible and tracked satellites, skyplot, orientation plots.
• PVT display: real-time position, velocity, time and measurements.
• Reset GNSS: clear NVRAM, reset receiver, restore initial parameter values, reset RTK.
• Reports: general, parameters and options reports.
• Firmware Update: online from website or from a file.
• Configuration: by graphical user interface or by GREIS command line.
• Configuration setting: save from, and reload to, a GNSS receiver configuration file.
• Raw Data Files: Start / stop recording, delete files, downloading files for post-processing and analysis.
• Multiple Receiver Connections.
• GNSS & Frequency Spectra: collect data and display.

Please provide a copy of the JAVAD GNSS receiver 'Parameters Report' as collected by NetView when contacting JAVAD GNSS 'support' team.


With a firmware ZIP file, then use NetView to "Update Firmware | From File"

NetView does not, in of itself require, any ‘drivers’ to install or run the application.

The JAVAD NetView application uses the serial USB and Bluetooth ports as available in the Windows OS.

To update a JAVAD GNSS receiver's firmware:
o Use the Javad NetView application v4.7.0.0 to connect to the JAVAD 'rover' standalone GNSS receiver.
o Ensure the computer has an Internet connection.
o Then select "Update Firmware | From Website | Latest version".

The NetView Windows OS application v4.7.0.0 provides the ability to "Update Firmware | From Website | Latest version" to JAVAD GNSS receivers (via BT or USB etc...)

Note: To use the Bluetooth (BT) connectivity from your Windows computer OS, one needs to establish a 'Bluetooth and Devices' connection 'pairing' (PIN: 1234) to the JAVAD GNSS receiver, so as to allow the NetView application to be able to connect (via Bluetooth) . . .

For a NetView 'remote' connection, for example to a Triumph-3 'base' (with Wi-Fi or cellular and internet), you can use NetView and the TCP connection capability.

For the JAVAD GNSS Receiver firmware update information, keep an eye on the Javad GNSS website and the link - Release Notes | JAVAD GNSS.
You can then review the ‘Release Notes’ and then decide if you want to ‘upgrade firmware’, or not, for your JAVAD GNSS receiver.

Using NetView application v4.7 (or higher), you can download the latest firmware version from the Javad website - see Post#4 above . . .
