No fixed solution

We think we must have accidentally changed a setting somewhere as we went out and in the stakeout screen (and measure) we have 6 engines fixed RTK but when we start the observation there is no popcorn sound and we only get a "save for PP" option as on p45 of the Quick Start Guide v20160930? Was working fine the last time we had it out so sure its something one of the team have fiddled with.

We were running the boundary profile as out of the quick start guide (as best we can replicate it from the details in the guide).

We are wondering if the setting issue is elsewhere as we set these when we got it and haven't changed (unless by accident?)

If we aren't using the tilt functionality and don't calibrate the LS won't this introduce errors? Thanks for the assistance too!

This setting is the tilt allowed before epochs are not used. The other setting maximum corrected tilt anlge deals with tilt compensation.

So at 2m the pole could be 0.17m off and it would still record epochs if you set 5°? When using the boundary profile we used a braced pole so would be disappointed if the LS was moving more than 5mm for the duration of the observation.

5 degrees is just a number greater than zero to try and see if that fixes it. You can set to desired amount. But it should be more than zero.

I assuming you keep yours calibrated Nate if you taking shots like that? We haven't got to that stage yet, just working out one function at a time and then moving on to the next.
