"Not optimized for large files"

HEY! Shawn Billings said this thing was "Not yet optimized for large files"
When is that going to happen?

I have a couple of jobs with 4k points, that I want and need to work on. One has 5k or more.

Meanwhile, is there a way to prevent it from doing slow stuff, such as "REGEN AUTO OFF" or the like?

4000 or 5000 points shouldn't be a problem, the points list and map will take longer to load but if you able to separate your points into different pages and turn off pages that you don't currently need, it should reduce the time for the points to load.
