OAF Expiration Notice

Participants in the PLS trial program have gotten used to receiving OAF expiration notices, which all ask that the recipient contact "our managers." So far the OAFs have been automatically extended, but I realize that at some point we're going to have to fish or cut bait. I'm currently facing a November 30 expiration.

My questions:

1. Is this one for real?

2. What's the process by which I purchase the equipment?

3. Upon purchase, will I receive a copy of the OAF I can retain on my computer in case the file in the equipment gets corrupted?

4. Will Javad continue make the file available for reinstallation over the Internet?

Once my equipment was paid for I recieved a permanent OAF file that was emailed to me which I installed via Netview.

As far as if this deadline is "the deadline" I do not know. This would be a question for Michael or Javad.

Jim - 1) this is for the existentialists to answer; 2) I can't speak for any of the other testers, but I just sent in a check for the amount shown on my invoice about at the end of May or the first week in June. To see the $ amount that will be on your invoice, go to http://www.javad.com/jgnss/, Logon, go to My Orders, then click on the number in the left column. Separately, at some point I got a very detailed invoice but I am not sure about the exact sequence but that it was at that same time around the end of May when I simply decided that I was going to pony up. 3) Sometime afterwards, the OAF notices stopped, and yes, you'll receive a discrete Options Authorization File (.jpo) that you can save. Mine is date stamped June 11th but the email got claimed in my RAID failure in July and is why the fuzzy memory on some dates, the Reagan Defense. 4) Yes, and if you go to Home screen1, Support, you'll see where that would be accessed. We've even tested that out and it seems to be working as intended under that laboratory test.
