I'm continually amazed at what I can do with the Javad LS. I got 2 shots here, over about 12 mins of time. 0.05' apart.
Yup. Fully verified.

Here was a mess of privit. It was running slow, so I set it to store 3 shots, automatically. Went and did some chores, and came back. Yes, I do believe this beats (1) traversing, or (2) spending lots of time, (to verify it) or (3) using a low confidence coordinate. 3 is not an option, So, it's really fine.

And as we keep saying....tell my another piece of survey equipment you can "go do some chores" and let IT do the work while you're away! Awesome stuff.

I heard that Trimble was gonna buy up Javad..... (Was the rumor, from the Trimble camp) Pretty funny, if you ask me!! (Javad has a response to that as well, in the last "Professional Surveyor" magazine.
All I'm gonna say about this, is I have been HEARING lies about Javad for a long time. I hate to see anybody lied about.
And, these shots are FOR REAL!!

Under the tree, behind the power pole, on the top of my trusty old Pentax rod, so tiny as to be barely seen, is a Triumph-LS gathering a set in boundary profile at 2Hz like it is open fields. I heard the finished-tone as I walked away to take this picture. The second collected set agreed with it and both agreed with the staked point done in precise topo profile.
I get shots in stuff so thick I cannot shoot a picture so I have taken this from a distance to emphasize this cover.

yes PC3 I agree Javad eats shots in conditions like that for breakfast without breaking a sweat.:)

Hi Nate, why do you have what looks like a 3 piece extension on the rover rod? Just curious...I know you come up with creative solutions.

This was a tough shot, a one cigar burner but I was able to get multiple accurate positions both RTK and PPK. I don't mind waiting, saved thousands of feet of traversing.
After 3 years of using Javad on many tough shots I continue to be extremely impressed and happy.20170829_132306.jpg

No... If I wanted it for that purpose, I'd split a piece of pvc, for a spacer...
It it there to give the LS a handle. To set it on steel fenceposts, or pipe posts.

It has a small hole in the bottom. I can drive a 20d finish nail, into a wood post, and park the LS, while doing other tasks.
This way, its working, while I'm working.

Thanks for asking.
Nate
