Power Cable

Is there an external power cable to power the Triumph LS/Victor LS via USB power packs ?

Brother's LS batteries are gone and won't hold a charge (he has since ordered new batteries).

I had thought there was one provided however I'm not sure.

I've never tried it, but I've always assumed that you can hook up a 12v battery to the charging cable via an SAE connector. To be safe you'd want to check the polarity at the charger to make sure you don't wire the battery backward, though the receiver design *should* include a reverse-polarity protection diode.

I have done once with a small 12 volt battery and it worked fine, I put the battery in a back pack and finished the day. It's not the most convenient way with extra weight and the cable from the back pack to the LS to mess with.
