Problems with antenna towers

I had real trouble getting a fix (nRTK, got a signal for the corrections ok) on a site today, on top of a hill with wide open skies. Occasionally got 1 engine fixed. I went home after giving up, and tried it in my garden, which has lots of trees around, and 6 fixed engines immediately. What was on the top of a hill about 200m away, was a large antenna tower. It looks more than just a mobile phone tower, but I don't know its exact function. Has anyone else had trouble with nearby towers? Is there a way to tell if my receiver is getting interference from this thing? Would the "New Options" mentioned on the website help with something like this?

Run an interference scan at the site. This is a hallmark of the Triumph LS. See the hardware button on the top row.

Yes! In my area, Arkansas, AT&T Microwave towers, together with cell towers equipped with microwave communications where fiber optic is not available, exhibit interference as you have described. I have still been able to work, but it takes a lot of patience. Also the microwave interference seem to be a confined pathway?

Same here. There are certain places, where all the radio traffic is too much. "It's a radio filled world". It can nearly shut down your base.
Your base listens for traffic, hearing none, it sends out corrections.
Repeat every second.
When it hears traffic, it stops broadcasting.
Sometimes it gets into a pattern. Sends out corrections every 2 seconds, or random, every 10 seconds. Or just random.

Try switching from conventional to independent tracking when interference is a problem.

It does look like a microwave tower.
I'm not completely sure how to read the interference screens, but nothing jumped out at me as being bad on the site, though I'm not sure I was looking at the right frequencies.
I'll have to do some further investigation when C19 calms down a bit (very busy with dog walkers)
Thanks All.
