Quick Release for LS

Being a new LS+ owner, I find myself thinking a quick release would be quite useful instead of having to unscrew the receiver from a prism pole. Who uses one? Which one do you use? Any likes or dislikes?

Not a plus user, just a regular LS, but I use a Leica QR adapter and like it a lot. I often drive between GPS points, and the adapter makes it easy for me to set the pole/bipod in the back and stick the LS behind the seat as I move through my points.

Corey, this was my solution. I still have relapses with being able to stand still. Equilibrium things.
But, The handle works good.

I just started using these(see photo)
they work great and the unit sits flat on a table with them

Thanks for sharing. Wish I had seen this earlier. I've got the seco quick connectors and they work great but it doesn't sit flat as you describe and they run $130-150ish.
The only problem with it is the section that attaches to the LS comes lose and you have to keep retightening

Is this what you are using?

Also, are you using an adapter to goto 5/8?

Pic of the Seco one I use on the pole, a dashboard mount fastened to dash that locks the LS to the dash via the Seco stud, & pic of T1M base on roof of truck fastened with a quick release to a permanently attached mag roof mount. Very quick base setup.
Also made a desktop cradle that it locks the LS into place and is inclined to desktop reading position.

The Ulanzi one that pappassurveyor mentioned is LEGIT! Thanks for the advice!

I also got and it works great, it did loosen up on the LS plus side and I retighten and will try again, maybe some blue lock tight will be needed.
