Radio setup

I just got the HPT435BT JL yesterday (thanks to Michael and the Javad team for quick turnaround). I've been trying to set it up this morning, but I'm not very familiar with radios.

I was following the instructions on Shawn's "Triumph LS as base with external radio" post, but I am stuck at Step 9, where I am supposed to select UHF modem. The UHF modem option is greyed out, and I can't select it (only BT Serial Port is available). I have the antenna hooked up. The UHF is listed as disabled under the status tab.

Also, I want to use the radio as an RTK bridge, to send RTN to UHF. I didn't find any instructions on setting this up. Does anyone who uses this setup have any tips?

I don't know when it was introduced, this is the first radio I have bought. It is the 35W radio with J-Link, but I did not buy the LTE option with it.

My UHF was disabled in power management. Now that I enabled it I was able to finish setting up the LS as a base. I still haven't gotten it to work as a bridge though. I have the NTRIP client settings set for my RTN (VRSNOW), but the NTRIP status now says "awaiting 3D GPS fix."

Hello Marshall,
please confirm you configure one TRIUMPH-LS as a TCP base, connect it to HPT435BT JL via Wi-Fi, supply correction to HPT435BT JL via TCP socket and then broadcast corrections via UHF to the second TRIUMPH-LS as a rover. NTRIP client should not be used in such setup.

The How to configure NTRIP to UHF is here
http://download.javad.com/manuals/how-to/JLink_LTE_Ntrip_to_UHF_configuration.pdf

if your RTN needs GGA from JLink, enable GNSS module in JLINK.

Also if you say: but I did not buy the LTE option with it.
it means GNSS module is not available in your HPT435BT JL and it would not work as an independent RTN bridge via NTRIP client in case if RTN requests an actual GGA position to be provided.

Regards,
Vladimir
