Radio solutions and RTPK

I'm looking for best radio solution for Triumph 3 base and Triumph LS+ in the U.S.. No cell coverage is generally available to use a bridge, but would the JL radios still be worthwhile?

There is a HPT435BT and AW435BT. What is the difference between these? Have seen many posts about radio range with multi-constellation; is there some new radio in development that I should be waiting for?

Also, which radio kit to go with the radio and what it includes? Already have the external antenna, ground plane, cable. Would need I guess fan, power source, mount maybe?

Also wondering if any solution for LS as base to get more radio range? Is it possible (if not, will it ever be) to use an external radio with LS base?

Finally, do I just call to order RTPK? I didn't find it on the website.

Thanks!

If cell coverage is never available I would recommend the HPT435Bt. If the customers use TCP then the 435 JL is the way to go because it can be used as a TCP to UHF repeater. The JL will work with the LS as an external radio. The HPT435BT will not.

You will need to login into the account for the LS that you are wanting to upgrade to RTPK. Once logged in tap upgrades.

I'm confused: I use an HPT435BT as an external UHF radio with the LS. Do I have my model numbers mixed up?

In the JL series of radios, is there a 35 watt?
Can a JL radio also work with a t3?
(Of course, we are trying to chase all our cats up one tree!)
