Hi Eugene. I have been testing Rams and I have been able to connect my laptop (Windows 10) or a Windows 10 tablet to the LS with RAMs but have been unable to get a response out of my Andriod phone or an Android tablet. (both Samsung) In both cases the LS shows being connected to the address but the device shows no connection. This is true whether I am on house wifi or jetpack. (same with windows devices both networks work)

Any ideas?
Thanks

You should be able to connect using the web browser version of RAMS on all your devices. The Android and iOS apps need to be updated to be compatible with Linux J—Field.

Using RAMS Desktop, the interactive remote assistance tool . . .

Note: The RAMS desktop 'browser' interface allows users to interact with their TLS whilst the unit is on charge (being redyed for the next day's survey work) using a computer browser with keyboard and mouse to access JFIELD projects and point data, to run DPOS sessions, and also download or upload data files and reports etc . . .
RAMS can also be used from the office to obtain remote access to any TLS in the field that has an Internet connection.

To get you started, Javad has created the RAMS-Desktop application for Windows OS that contains a Server and a Viewer in one.

Launch the RAMS-Desktop application.
Setup your Triumph-LS remote assistance (see post #7 above).
and you're ready to use RAMS on your desktop computer using your keyboard and mouse.

For File Transfer / Data Exchange:
Using RAMS Desktop, you can upload files from your computer to the TLS SD card and then use TLS JFIELD to import the file into your project.
Conversely, you can use the TLS and JFIELD to save any project or reports or data to the SD card, then use RAMS Desktop to download files to your computer.

Using RAMS Desktop to exchange data when the Triumph-LS/LS+ is using Wi-Fi Internet access ensures that 'data exchange' using a Cellular SIM card and ' RTK data plan' is not being used (IE: not exceeding any cellular GSM data-plan monthly data usage).
