Recover Data on Moved Base?

Ok so not exactly proud on how this turned out but I found myself in the mountains miles from home and needed to produce while I left the 1/4 to 5/8 adapter for one receiver sitting on my desk. Driving an hour and half back home to get the adapter was not an option so.....redneck mind taking over I had one adapter which obviously had to go on the rover. I duct taped the base to the pole and headed up into the woods (I do not yet have the update for the "who moved" option) surveyed away and upon returning this is what I found. Check in to the point that I started with a check in on and yes it showed Fill 4.5' and left 0.5'. Well dang so at least it dropped head up and not down the hill (yes it is 200' down to the river valley over the edge 5' away)....At any rate, I can pretty much tell from the field report when it fell but interestingly with the DPOS results I get RTK, PPK, and CORS data before and only RTK results after the infamous event. My idea is ok can I safely just shift the points the known booboo or is there going to be a deeper problem due to the processing hickup? Can anyone tell me how to get the solution of the points after the event so I have the analysis ability inherent in having the 3 solutions side by side? The precision on this is not super critical since I was only tasked with mapping the extent of an active landslide in the mountains for informational purposes. Haha slice away with the comments I know are looming......but I am assuming the pain will be slightly less than the 3 hour return trip and trek up the mountain in the deliverance zone of hostile landowners to potentially recover this. (shotgun slugs were wizzing overhead as I left)

1st off, I feel for you.
2nd, congrats on it landing right side up.
3rd, maybe somebody can look at that raw data, and find the precise time of the tumble. And separate the file. Into 2 files. I don't know how.
From that, you can review the screenshots on the LS, and make a determination.
Congrats on getting shot at!
If you need a duct tape adaptor. A carefully bent nail may serve. I carry some 1/4" allthread. I can drive it into the top of a fencepost, and it will work. Put a nut on it to protect the threads, while driving it.
And, lastly, birds like to land on a t-2. I find "calling cards" often. So, it has to be secured pretty well. Maybe a large bird landed on it, on your job.

Thanks Nate. Whew! And yea hoping to get an idea here.

The shooting part well when it started sounding like um, fire fight, I got down slope pretty soon, I do not even know for sure if I was known about or aimed at but the culture out there is not unlike Prohibition era Appalachia given the remote rugged appeal to rouge weed growers, and the apparent nervousness of the highway inspector, who left quickly after introducing the situation to me, I did not seek to ask questions. Just left.

And yea I have wiped pigeon doodle off the base many times myself and have been pondering how to rig a deterrent...

maybe with duct tape....hey hey...but then what would it do to the incoming signal????

I know it won't help with your day's worth of data, but if you have that problem again in the future (forgetting the adapter) place the T2 up anywhere that is stable (roof of truck, laid on top of a spare tripod, etc) and use the "reverse shift" feature to get a good location for the new base point.

yea I thought that through after the meathead event. Doh!

OK the update is with some help from Alexey on the 5pls team I was able to recover this survey without returning to the field.

Long story short after the analysis and adjustment the bottom line is the Triumph LS and it's powerful RTK engine is the ultimate hero here. (of course, I do mean the developers) I continue to be amazed at how solid this system is, it did what it was supposed to do even after/during the tumble and I believe the final positions are good. I published the results to the client without too much concern and if I do get a chance back up there I am confident a check on the control left behind will be well within tolerance.

Thank you to Javad and team for all the integrity and attention to what is important. This machine continues to surprise me.
