RTK Status Box Question

I have been noticing an odd occurrence lately that I can't explain or understand. Sometimes, seemingly randomly, 5/5 will change to 5/0 in the RTK Status Box as shown above. Usually these numbers stay at 5/5, whether I have a fix or not. This is using a T2 with a 1W UHF radio at the base. When this happens I am unable to get a fixed position, regardless of whether or not I am in canopy. It's like I have a bad radio connection, but if I check out the Comms info, I can clearly see that I have good radio comms. The issue seems to come and go randomly.

The update to the user manual for JField 3.0.5.280 explains these numbers: Number of RTK corrections per second/Number of fixes per second. This makes complete sense, except that normally the numbers stay at 5/5 whether I have a fix or not. It seems to me when this happens, there might be a comm issue between the base and rover, maybe the rover isn't receiving corrections, but if that was the case, shouldn't the numbers be 0/0?

Is this a bug? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Joe, 5/0 means that you are setup for 5 Hz RTK, but at this moment you get no fix, because of lack of base data, or bad data, for example. This is normal. No bug.

Thanks Javad. Would lack of base data indicate a base/rover communication issue? When I have noticed this in the past, I always check the radio comm page and the LQ, Delay, Rate and Latency are all seemingly normal. Unfortunately I didn't capture a screen shot of that page though.

The link quality is shown on the action screen to be 100% in your screenshot. The problem should not be because of a lack of base data.

No Matt. Data quality does not show if occasional checksum errors happens in data frames.

Just a note: The LS screen can be "out of date". Example: radio is red. Then, it clicks several times, while still red, then turns green, as it continues. (Happens in marginal radio areas). Technically, it can't click, without radio. So, in that case, it appears that the screen is "out of date" by a second or 2.
