RTN & DPOS

I have a user in my area who's asked an RTN/DPOS-related question. Can anyone help?

"Sometimes when collecting a control point on the RTN (longer collection) I will have the Raw box checked. I then download and DPOS that point. DPOS only appears to use GPS & GLONASS L,1, L2, P1,PS and not GPS L5 or Galileo or Bedoi. I could not find a setting to change the JPS raw collection to include these constellations in for DPOS. Any ideas?"

The settings appear to be turned on in advanced GNNS settings. This is a newer menu than the older one where you just checked off constellations. The State RTN offers GPS, GPS L5, Glonass and Gallileo on a network mount point. Currently using the RMAX mountpoint (GPS & Glonas onely) until Javad GNNS software update is recommended. I was under the assumption that a static LS point is independet of correction streams from the State RTN and that since the LS is reading these that they could be utilized in DPOS solution.

It can only be used in the solution if the base is recording that data as well. So when pulling CORS stations near you the CORS stations need to be recording Galileo as well. I would suggest pulling a few static files from the CORS stations that the DPOS reports are being used. Then you can see if Galileo and Beidou are actually being stored by the CORS stations.

So, when DPOS is using CORS stations within the MACORS network (utilize Galileo and L5), then DPOS might include Galileo in the solution, but if they are using a CORS station other than the 19 MACORS (LEICA Receivers) then no dice? Would all the DPOS selected CORS stations need to include Galileo (say they used 4 or 5) to incorporate Galileo?

Currently only the Developer server has Galileo turned on. It can be selected in J-Field DPOS by choosing the DEBUG server and is also available online at https://dpos-dev.javad.com/jca/#/home. Galileo use was disabled in the Production server about 6 months ago because the use of Galileo was found to cause an incorrect solution in one case.
