Serial port option

I've just bought a Triumph-LS with the serial port option. Where can I get a lead that will output from the unit with the old style 9 pin, D shaped serial port connector at the other end?

Edit: Nevermind, I just spotted it in the accessories shop (D'oh)

Archaeological geophysics with ground penetrating radar. The radar has a serial import for GPS NMEA sentences as an alternative to setting out grids and manually controlling positioning. I still have to work out how the unit will be mounted above the centre of the radar antenna. I'm curious as to how the antenna will affect the interference readings on the Triumph. I will try that one evening.

Hi David, what NMEA messages do you need? I believe NMEA GGA is the only option that is configurable to be transmitted through the serial port at this time. Also does your radar equipment support receiving NMEA messages through bluetooth?

The radar doesn't support bluetooth unfortunately, that would be a lot better than running a cable between the two. I can't imagine it would need anything more than GGA, but I'll have to check with the manufacturer.

Alright the option to enable GGA output through the serial port is found in System->Connection Setup->External Serial Connection.
