shared network folder

Does anyone have a more thorough tutorial (than what's in start up guide) on setting up a shared network folder for transferring files between LS and PC? I made it to "...in the browse files screen..."; can't find that screen. Thanks!

I'm getting an error trying to mount it. "error: operation now in progress..."
I have switched the LS over to Linux OS. But I tried rebooting, and re-starting several times anyway and still nothing.
The LS shows up on my computer as a device that is "paired".
Tried removing all security options so folder is open to "everyone", still no go.
