Snow and Multipath

Now that winter is almost over the question of snow and multipath comes to mind. (An indication that I am a slow thinker!)

As the snow depth decreases, and the surface gets harder through the process of melt and refreeze; is there a multipath issue associated with gathering data on "ground" that is covered with snow?

Steve; I work in the snow all the time and have never noticed any issues aside from trees covered in snow above the receiver, that can
clog things up.
