Solar Battery chargers FYI

The connection options should allow for running an RTK radio or at least slowing the rate of discharge
of the battery.

this video is about one from Harbor Freight and how to get more juice out of it, but I believe QuickCable makes it

Good stuff Sean.
I have used one of these in the past to help slow the discharge of external marine batteries powering RTK radios. It does help, but it only slows the discharge rate on a high powered 35 watt radio, it can't keep up.
I didn't know they offered different sizes, that is nice.
The one we used looked exactly like the small one pictured here and we hung it on the tripod that the antenna mast was mounted on and used the alligator clips to attach to the battery.

These appear to have SAE connectors on the power cable, so all you would need to do is plug it in to the radio charging pigtail if you have Javad's 1 watt radio with the internal battery.

Verify positive and negative of course, but does anyone see a problem with doing so?

when I saw the SAE connector I thought people would interested .
I bought the 2 watt to keep my 56 Ford 801 tractor battery up but when I saw the connector I was even more happy with it because I have the 901 radio.
It comes with alligator clips and a socket type connector all with the SAE.

No I don't have the serial cable I need.
I don't think the trickle charger will do much at 2 watts except maybe slow the discharge down slightly.
