Sounds not working......

On one of our LS's, the sounds have completely quit working - most of the time. Occasionally they will work, but for the most part, nothing. No clicks when collecting, no clicks when hitting buttons on the screen.

I have checked both the sound setting in Jfield and even out to the windows screen under the windows settings and both are all the way up, as they've always been.

This unit was actually just sent in for an RMA about three months ago with speakers being one of the things that were replaced.

Anyone else ever had this kind of behavior?

In the past there were issues with the speakers going out with the volume at the highest volume level but the highest volume level was reduced some to try to fix this. Also the speakers and bottom buttons were upgraded to hardware version 6 that looks like this:



Which version do you have?

Do you use a J-Tip with this LS?

Guys are gone to the field with the unit now, I'll have to check on version.
I do know it has the "4 hole" type of openings you show in the picture since coming back from the RMA, not the single hole openings our other two have.
We do not use a Jtip with this unit.

As I said, the speakers were replaced only a few months ago.....
