T2 Download Rates

This issue I've noticed for a while, sorry I can't say exactly when, but it was at least a couple of Net View and Modem versions ago. The issue is regarding the download rates via Bluetooth. In the past 4 to 6 months, the download from the T2 to the PC via Bluetooth seems to take an inordinate amount of time; particularly, when contrasted with the relatively short amount of time it takes to download the same file from the T2 to the LS via Bluetooth.

Has anybody else observed this?

What baud rate are you connecting at and have you tried increasing it? I'm not sure what the limitation for the baud rate is with a Bluetooth connection. I typically connect through TCP if I want a wireless connection.

Hi Matt - thank you for the reply. The baud rate is set at 115200, the maximum available.

Yes, I believe so, as I recall a much faster rate. When did this change happen? Maybe it was when I switched from NetView to Net View and Modem? ... I'm not certain ... could have been sometime earlier this year.

I'm almost tempted to try uninstalling Net View & Modem - v1.2.1.5 and going back to NetView as the files started before I posted this thread only now have just finished downloading:

Both Netview and Netview & Modem can be installed on your PC at once. If you did not uninstall Netview the you should still have it to try.

Both can be installed on your computer, unless you don't want Netview and Modem on your PC anymore.

As it turns out, I never uninstalled NetView (just stopped using it) and while the pull down menu allowed me to select 1500000, it isn't supported.

Matt, you mentioned that you typically connect through TCP if you want a wireless connection. Is this your normal means of transfer? I'm guessing its faster than 115200... or do you normally use a USB cable?
