T2 Firmware update?

My T2 has ser# 0087 with version 3.60B3 firmware from May 2014.
I see there is a new update but the release notes aren't really clear if this update applies to my unit?

Yes there are updates available. Use the From Internet option in Netwiew to automatically download and install the correct version.

From reading the notes it mentioned that the update is for newer units.
Does this update apply to my older unit?
and will I be able to use more constellations?

triumph2_old_3_7_0 is the latest update for the T2 with the older board versions. It will not allow any more constellations to be tracked.

I updated automatically yesterday through Netview and now I have firmware 3.6.9. 28 Nov. 2016
My board version is Triumph2_3.

Where can I find step by step instructions for hooking to Netview and updating my T2?

I have attached these instructions. You can also now update the firmware of base stations through J-Field using Base Rover Setup. Tap button that displays the name of the rover and base (under "Start Base"). You will find options to update the firmware and OAF of the base there.
