T2 gets corrections. T3 don’t. Same LS and hotspot.

Me again Margaret.

Something is suspicious to me. Here’s the scenario.

I have one LS+ on, one Verizon static hotspot on and both the T2 and the T3 are on and both connected to the hotspot.

Using the exact same APN with the static IP, the T2 shows the RTN status CONNECTED, but my T3 only shows that when the T2 is on. Once the T3 is on alone, even with the exact same equipment and settings, it will not connect for corrections???

It is probably a problem with port 8010 not being forwarded properly when connected to the T3. How did you configure the port forwarding?

What do I do to check or change this? I don't remember doing that before.

I just set the T3 up to connect to the hotspot with auto DHCP. Then setup the APN in the LS+ to use the static ip of the hotspot.

I'll leave the unit on RAMS for several hours if you wanna poke around. Thanks!

Is the port forwarding on the T3 or on the hotspot? My Verizon hotspot works and it does not have any port forwarding on?

Yes it is enabled for that IP address. If the T3 is not being assigned that IP address it will not be able output TCP corrections.

Here are my AT&T Netgear Nighthawk settings options:

What needs to be changed? I got the static IP to stick and it works. I just cant get the T3 to connect?

The T3 is connected to the hotspot.

The port forwarding needs enabled for the local IP address between base and hotspot not the external IP address (166.195…). It looks like you are trying to configure it for the external IP address.

I really appreciate your time.

This is the IP address the LS (and the hotspot) shows me the T3 is using to connect to the hotspot. I put it in. No dice?

Just to give an update on this: I went into the office to connect the unit so the engineers could take a look and when it powered up the CELL light was green and it connected right away using the internal sim card and modem.

I never got the hotspot to work with it.
