The new Triumph-3

I don't know if it's too late, but...
It'd be nice if:
There was a built in bracket, with a hole in it, to cable or chain lock it. Thieves want easy targets. Make it hard...
Also, if there were a hook on the t-3 to hook a box tape, to measure the HI.
In high winds, it can be difficult to measure the HI. The old Locus units had a hook, for box tapes.
It may be too late to implement these, but these make sense to me.

Another thing, (if it does not add radio noise) is LONG range bluetooth. So we can park 200' from the base, in the rain, and download base data, or change radio settings.
Long range bluetooth would be excellent.

Matt, that's great. Will it be able to behave like the t-2, with a base radio 100 meters away, and broadcasting through a 35 watt base radio?
This would allow a second radio to function as a repeater, effectively giving us 35 watts at base, and 35 watts repeater. (acually, 35 on base, an 4 watt repeater, with attached battery pack would still do alot)

Yes it will be able to use an external radio and repeater. I don’t think the distance between the base and radio will be able to be increased until the radios are updated with new Bluetooth modules.

Linux is the operating system that is replacing windows in the next major update of the LS. The team has been working on it for about a year. It will improve performance and speed of most all the functions within the LS.

It will have the same board as the LS. It will look similar to the LS in size and shape. A little shorter with no screen. It will have an internal radio as well.
