the real multisystem ?

Can the receiver to operate without GPS satellites signal receiving, and only work with the signals of GLONASS satellites, Galileo and Compass?

Okay, I understand. Yes, you can configure which GNSS satellites to exclude using the graphic user interface called J-Field. So for example, if you were using the Triumph-1M as an external antenna and connetced to a device running J-Field, you could uncheck the box for GPS... though I am quite puzzled why you would want to do that.

Many manufacturers claim the ability to work the receiver without a receiving GPS signals as true multisystem device.

Inform, please, can we control the receiver through the device based on Android?

I have not been able to get a fixed solution with the Triumph-LS without GPS. As Kelly notes, the settings are available in the J-Field software we are using, but I have not had success with it. I do recall that I left the timing set to GPS time, so perhaps this was a conflict. I'll try testing a bit more. I realize you are asking about the Triumph-1M but the receiver board is the same so I would expect that if I can do this with the LS then the 1M should also be able to as well.

As a note, I have been able to get fixed solutions with as few as three gps satellites in the solution.

Inform, please, can we control the receiver through the device based on Android?

Javad Mobile Tools (JMT) for Android currently has support for the Triumph-1, Triumph-2 and GISMore; and does not currently list the Triumph-1M. JMT is not intended as a replacement for J-Field, nor is its development necessarily headed in that direction; however, when the Triumph-1M is on the JMT pick list (as I expect to see at some point), you should be able to control it in much the same way as the other Javad GNSS receivers built with internal GNSS antennas.

Thank, Shawn. I hope that the developers will solve this problem.

Kelly, can control the receiver with something else other than Victor-LC and program J-Field? Controller Victor with Trice program can do this?
Another question on the Triumph-1M. Can I use the receiver as a base station? Can i adjust the recording data every 15 seconds?

Kelly: Tracy

Maksim: I believe Tracy will be able to support the 1M but I need to confirm this.

The Triumph-1 is very useful as a base and can be configured for any recording interval.

Thank you, Shawn and, please, confirm this information or refute this.
I hope to use, sometimes, TRIUMPH-1M with external antenna as a base station. If, of course, developers will confirm that Victor with Tracy (or another soft) can manage TRIUMPH-1M.
The Victor-LS bit expensive than Victor ;)

Maksim, I would still recommend the Victor-LS. It will run J-Field which contains many new features and improvements that we have all been working hard to implement. I don't think it would take you long to recuperate the cost difference using all the improvements in J-Field.

I can confirm that Tracy does support the Triumph-1M. Unless you have a special application, I don't think you will need an external antenna with the Triumph-1M. I'm still looking into whether the Triumph 1M can get a fixed solution without GPS satellites.

Matt, thanks for the offer.
Shawn, thanks to you once again. External antenna may need if the receiver to install mode base station for a few months, for example. In this case, the receiver must be protected from external influences (including human impact), provide an external power supply and it be connected to the computer.

Shawn, do you have Glonass 0.2 mm option in your receiver ? Did you connect to real time network (NTRIP) or did you use your own Javad base ?

Hi Zoltan,

I have a Triumph 1 receiver since 2008.

For many times I could stake-out parcels with 7 GLONASS satellites only, with NTRIP.
I have no Glonass 0.2 mm option.

The only change that I brought recently to my Triumph 1 is an external portable 3G modem connected to wi-fi.
It works very fine.

Regards,

Sorin.

Sorin is much better equipped to answer your specific questions regarding this, Zoltan, however I wanted to share a couple of screen captures from yesterday.

This is from the screen of the Triumph-LS:

Each box represents an RTK engine. In the upper left corner of each box (showing 0) is the number of GPS satellites used by that engine. In the upper right corner of each box (showing 7) is the number of GLONASS satellites used by that engine.
