Yeah, and we will end up locating the corner, later to find its out by feet. Like I've always heard, better not go into those woods, will out the Javad.

You know, I hear all kinds of stories using various receivers other than Javad, all stating extreme accuracy and short observation times in high multi-path areas. If not using Javad, how can these people have confidence in their location ? A simple solution for non-Javad users would be to have another receiver onsite for a loop closure check. Other than that, these people are taking a big chance relying on a non-Javad position.

and I bet even now they are still getting a fix in an open area running like hell into the woods trying to fool the receiver, (I always thought that was ridiculous) getting their shot, and having to dump the fix and reacquire as a check.

Ok, I don't have T-3 LS plus, and the latest 40 gigga-burp radio.
But, what are realistic gains?
I can already guess, that hard places will benefit greatly. But, what do you think? What are the gains, of buying the latest?
Thanks!

Nate, we upgraded both our LS units to LS+ and bought a T3 to go with our T2. We do lots of work in difficult canopy and can use a cellular data connection most of the time. I don't regret the upgrade decision for a second. I haven't collected data or crunched numbers and can't give you a timeframe on how long it will take us to recoup our investment, but I'd bet certainly within a year we'll be on the 'plus' side financially. And it makes my employees smile - very good for morale.
