TLS as a Base - Project change?

If you are using the TLS as a base as I have done for 5+ years now...
With the new base software is there an easy way to change projects?
I think I have tried to click on everything to find the easy way, but it seems I have to change to a different mode change the project then come back to base mode again - less than ideal.

Also, I used to use the internal level sensor as a cross-check for plumb and level while in base mode, is there any way to see that in the current base mode?

So, my 1 question turned into 2
1. how do I change projects in base mode?
2. how do I check the level sensors in base mode?

Thanks,
Jeffry T

1. It has been reported. Annoying having to change general profiles to create a project, I know.
2. Tap the action hardware button

I notice that number 2 no longer works. It doesn't go to the action screen when you tap the action button. I think this is because recording is started in base status now. @Eugene Aksyonov can you add the tilt and compass to this screen?

I took it as I didn't understand what you meant, but thanks for following up on it. Even if the tilt and compass are in text, it would help me make sure nothing is amiss.

Thanks!

I'd like to see a digital bubble there and on the action screen. It is tough at times to level the LS using the numbers. Many times my J-pod legs aren't aligned with the tilt sensors in the LS making more difficult to plumb. Standard bubble vials get out of whack to easy. I have transitioned to only using the tilt readout on the LS for the last 6 months or so. I have a pool table so it's very easy to set the level offset on the Ls every week or so. It hardly changes much.

To get by for now you can go to home screen 2, then tap calibrate, then tap level offset. There is a readout there.
