Triumph 2 batteries, SOS

Yesterday, my T-2 base quit. I figure due to batteries. I had to download a base file, and probably left it on, the other day... and discharged the batteries.
I get home, plug it in all night, get up this morn, and the red bat light is flashing.
Now, I have to leave in a few, and will check the forum, to see if anybody has the answer... but I may be in a wee bit o trouble... I read up on the T2 batts when I first got this, but after seeing that it had plenty of batt life, I set it aside, and did not read more.
Anyway, I'm taking my charger with me... today.
It is a far away job, and I sure hope I'm ok...
I'm fixin to hook it up with NETVIEW and see what batts say...

Well, I did not find anything under NETVIEW to tell me the state of the batts. As I recall, just charging them, it would eventually turn GREEN on the bat light.
HMMM I am bringing my wires and charger... see what happens.
I have a job commitment.... I bet it is something simple.

OK, so I can use the bullet plug? Nevermind... I get it. Plug it with the flat connector.
If you can tell me polarity... (I like to check that) I'll bring an extra wire.

The connectors come apart and the charging end for the t2 could be attached to the aligator clamps which would be attached to the battery. If you have a car charger you could plug it in and get a cable extension or you may have enough cable to get your t2 on top of the truck.

I have a section of 5 ft long wire, with flat connectors at both ends. I can power it from base bat. I'll be good, until I can read up on the problem.

I can do it again though.
Im sure its bats... Yesterday when it shut down I tried to turn it back on it stayed on for 30 seconds and shut itself back off the battery light was red solid.

OK, I got home, (Thanks to AA wrecker!)
And, plugged the T-2 in.
The left hand bat led was RED. (this was what alarmed me this morning)
Now, after several hours, it is GREEN.
Voltages are:
(Not Plugged in)

External 00.00
Receiver Board Voltage 8.16
Battery Voltage A 8.24
Battery Voltage B ________________
Charger Output Voltage 8.24.

I then Plug it in, and refresh the screen.

External 11.86
Receiver Board Voltage 11.98
Battery Voltage A 8.44
Battery Voltage B ________________
Charger Output Voltage 8.44

It looks like I did something (maybe left it on overnight) that discharged the batts.

And, then, this morning, it had not finished charging. ..

So, maybe we are good. But, I have learned some valuable lessons... I can power the T-2 from external pwr... that can be useful someday....
