Triumph-2 RTK rover with Triumph LS base

We just received a new set of gear - Triumph LS+, T3 and T2. The idea behind the equipment is to use the 3 as a base, while the LS+ is out collecting data and the T-2 is connected on the top of our laser scanner. The laser scanner gets a NMEA stream over bluetooth from the T-2. While I'm waiting on some new sim cards to arrive for the new equipment, I used one of other LS' to stream corrections to the T-2. I am using an iphone with JMT to test the T-2. The T-2 is connected to the iPhone hotspot as mentioned in other posts. I was able to connect the T-2 to my phone and connect the T-2 to the LS for corrections, however I can't get a fix on the T-2. When I click on the "corrections" tab after starting RTK in JMT it just shows "----". Is something supposed to be here.

So you are trying to send correction from LS to T2 over TCP is that correct?

If you are trying to do that then your LS has to have a static IP. If you are using a hotspot you will have to make sure DMZ is enabled and make sure you know your DMZ address.

This information will have to be put into your phone that has JMT.

If you are trying to get corrections over UHF then your T2 will need to be connected to an external UHF radio. Your radio will indicate if it is receiving the correction from the base. It should have a flashing RX light meaning it is receiving the correction from the base. If it is not then you have some settings wrong in your radio.

Thanks Matt. I do have static IP on my LS. I just got it to work by using an RCV connection instead of NTrip. Both profiles ask for the same information. Now it's on to broadcasting the NMEA string to the scanner. Thanks!
