Trumph LS and construction stake out

Would be nice not to just have set the instrument up and go to take a backsight and the dozer operator parks his machine in your line of sight and heads to lunch.

If you can live with the tolerances provided by GNSS positioning, it is the way to go. With the LS, you can set it to provide stakeout instructions just like a total station would (left/right, forward/back).

It's all I have used on one site I have been working on. Building pads are graded, curb is in, sewer is in, water and drainage is in. No problems. I would be careful with flat slopes.
