Truncated Point Descriptions

I created a comma-delimited point file on my PC with the format PointNumber, Northing, Easting, Elevation, Description and copied it to my Triumph-LS. I then imported the point data into the active Page. Everything came in fine except the descriptions, which were truncated at the first space in each description. How do I import points with descriptions that contain spaces without losing information?

Sounds like it may be the SEP2 (separator 2) may be set to a space and is perhaps affecting the import. I can't check it right now but perhaps that will give you a start.

Jim,
Please uncheck the "Space" checkbox in CSV format screen. By default, space is treated as separator, as well as tabulation, comma and semicolon.
