Unable to pair T3 with external HPT435BT radio

Ok, so I've acquired the proper cable and I still cannot connect the radio/modem to pair it with the base. I have tried multiple different usb ports, turned everything off and on again, still not connecting to the desktop through net view and modem. Running version 2.2.4.1 on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1909 build 18363.1139. Trying to connect to HPT404BT s/n: 00134. These are the only options to connect that I'm getting, and none have been successful.

Have you tried pairing thru base rover setup with the usb cable?

I got it finally. Needed the drivers from here for the usb/serial cable to function.

Edit to above, walked away and I timed out before it posted...

Edit: To clarify, I could see the radio connected in windows devices, so I didn't think I needed the extra driver for the JAVAD netview program to recognize the radio. Seems counter-intuitive to be able to see the device and not connect to it, and the correct port doesn't even show up without the drivers installed.

Just kind of shaking my head at how silly that was to try and pair bluetooth. Took me a weeks time and probably half a day troubleshooting different ideas/solutions mostly on my own and still ended up needing spare parts borrowed from another JAVAD user to get this up and running in the end.

Fortunately, it's Friday.
