Using a CORS station as a base

Occasionally, when within range, I use the corrections from a CORS station rather than set up my base station. Under the previous version of the Base/Rover screen I could input the coordinates for the CORS station and be accurately geo-referenced. With the current Base/Rover screen you can only input the base coordinates after connecting to the base via Bluetooth (not possible with a CORS station). Has anyone figured a workaround for this?

If you want to tie into the existing Cors station, as long as you know the frequency that the base is transmitting then as long as your UHF profile is setup to receive that frequency then you do not need to go through the base rover setup. You should only have to have your UHF profile setup as current and it will start receiving that correction from the Cors station. The only reason you need to go through the base rover setup is to make your base start transmitting at the base corrections. In your case the Cors station is always sending that information, all you need to do is receive it, so base rover setup is not necessary.
