Can anyone offer advice on how to accomplish obtaining a static IP address for a Jetpack SIM card?

On the phone now. Wish me luck.

Having a devil of a time getting the Verizon module in the LS+ to connect consistently. It works once or twice then will not connect. It has a mind of its own. I guess I need to come back to your place for advice. But first I want to wrangle this static IP issue.

I was hoping someone had a back door or secret number to call at Verizon.

I may be getting somewhere. They are submitting it now.

They are getting errors..... 46 mins so far. Now switched to tier 2.

I found it but it is for AT&T
Yeah, my back channel contact for static IP is with AT&T.

Charles, this is why we started offering a Verizon static IP service. It's tricky getting to someone who knows what you're trying to accomplish. In any case, keep at it. It's worth the effort.

But I am a cheapskate and was looking to avoid the $500/year price tag. And that leaves me on the phone with Verizon for an hour. They are guarding the numbers jealously.

I'm making some progress. I have to switch from a personal to a business account for my phones. Then the static IP is a piece of cake apparently.
