Just got my new Victor LS in !! It came a day early. Pretty neat.... I'll be reading the LS manual for a while. Just wandering, I thought the unit came with a built in camera. I tapped the "camera" icon and it says "WARNING You have no Camera option purchased. Camera functions are disabled". I don't recall having a camera option available when I purchased it. Does the Victor have a camera ?

Yep, it has a camera per the data sheet. Not sure why it's not functioning or available. Will try and read manual tonight and upgrade JField tomorrow... maybe that's it. Current version for the Victor LS is 2.1.0.58 Pretty amazing controller. I've been jealous of my brother's LS. Have used only a handful of times when he allows me to go out in the field, he says I'm too much dead weight, office surveying sucks some days...

Thanks Shawn. Thanks Matt. Serial number is #272. This is a cool controller, reading the LS manual last night kinda overwhelmed me. I bought as a backup for our LS system as also something I can play around with. Will be ordering a radio and another T2 in a few weeks

This is an issue that needs to be fixed. The Victor-LS does not have options or a OAF like a Triumph-LS.

Can I connect to Netview to do this ? I'm kinda at a loss where to get started. It came with a sim card, but I don't have a data plan yet

Software updates can be installed from Support > Software Updates when the unit has a WiFi connection. The developers will need to fix this issue first though.

Finally got the Victor to communicate with T2. Shawn was a great help finding the IMEI number for the SIM card. Having problems with SIM card. It shows up but not connected to network. Hopefully someone can help me tomorrow. I called Matt and left message. Image of collecting data on desk

Yes, just review the posts above. I contacted Shawn on the IMEI number to provide to ATT for the SIM card. Unfortunaly, I apparently put the SIM card in wrong and also lost the SD card in a small area next to the data card slot and in fell inside the unit. I sent it back for repair and I won't receive back until Monday 12/03. I haven't had much time to use the controller (< week) when this happened. It has a pretty steep learning curve, but I'm a little familiar with JField because we also have the LS RTK system, Just read the manual and take it slow to learn the software. It's pretty amazing to have such sophisticated scientific software and equipment to use. Javad has always been on the cutting edge of GPS technology. The land surveying profession is very fortunate to have him producing such quality equipment and software. If you get stuck with something, use this forum and call one of the support team members, they will help whenever they can.
