Tough traveling in Carolina today. Stuck in a snow jam.

Today me and John set up a base T2 and an LS outside the conference area and utilized RAMs to display the screen in the booth. I had quite a few come by and mention they had seen it. We we're about 25' feet from the building and next to magnolia tree. You could see the LS out of the exibit hall window. Check it out. It's directly behind the column on the right on the right side of the magnolia.

Yes, it's from StreetView. It was hard to tell from the original photo exactly where the tripod was set up, so I took a guess.

The reason I went looking for the site on GE was because I didn't understand why the receiver was so much higher than the intersection shown in the original photo. (Curiosity may not always kill the cat, but it can sure lead him down some rabbit holes!)

Me and John had a the pleasure of speaking with a very nice topcon affiliate who told us they recommend to all of their users to never go in the woods with their equipment. I can not imagine not going in the woods. On a side note the young group of future surveyors representing ETSU had shirts that said " Surveyors do it in the woods". I think that should be @Javad new slogan.
