We want to operate the Triumph LS Rover from the J-Mobile app

We bought the J-Mobile app about a year ago. We have never been able to make it work. We haven't cared, as we can operate it manually.

Now, we need to put the rover on a tall rod to shoot corners of buildings. We want to start and stop the shot from the ground using Bluetooth.

The yellow crap we traded in did this well. We can't get J-Mobile to do this, on the other hand.

We have the latest version. All the updates, and the J-Mobile manual.

Any suggestions?

Thank you, Bill Price 530-640-1451

The way I do this is. I switch to quick topo profile (it auto accepts 5 quick epochs when I have a 3 engines that agree) i have a 15ft rod and i set the ls on the corner of the gutter. I also have mine set so it flashes when I get a shot.

Another option would be to turn hot spot on your phone. Hook the ls to wifi. Then you can use RAMS to see and use your LS.

I wish RAMS worked without the internet. Ive discussed this issue (so has several other people) ever since I got the LS. You should be able to hook your phone to it wirelessly and contol it WITHOUT INTERNET.

There was talk of using the wifi router capability on Linux OS, but it has never happened. I got tired of asking.

I made a bldg. profile.
Start has 10" delay.
Flashlight is set to blink.
Confidence is 15.
Min epoch is 15.
At least 2 sats.
Maybe a bit more... This is from memory.
Raw data for ppk is on.
It runs on a 12' pole..
It's fast. Does not require Wi-Fi.
Back under windows, I used mifi
I like the above better.

I use tilt-lift in quick topo, but I turn the angle down to 10 deg. Could even do 7 degrees. This helps to not take shots I don't want. I just figured this out recently. I like it a lot better. You don't have to hold the LS so tilted when typing descriptions.

As stated above and multiple times before, there is a real need for the RAMS mobile app to work without the internet. Is this on the to do list? Matt has stated before that the app needs updated.
