Workshop Triumph-LS Plus 2/25/2021 - Lightning Fast Verification in Canopy

Adam, what I've seen on the webinars for the LS Plus got me excited. The conditions we work in East Tennessee is probably similar to Western North Carolina. I know Shawn covered this a little in the webinar, but you knowing the conditions we work in, can you give me an idea on the increase in productivity I can expect upgrading to the LS Plus. Right now we are running a two person crew with two multi constellation rovers and a Triumph-3 base, and our production with no leaf cover is unbelievable compared to a couple of years ago. I'm sure that's going to change come spring.

The Plus upgrade is remarkable. I still carry my 2nd standard LS with me but it stays in my back pack most of the time, now that I have a Plus unit.

Right now my guys are getting around plus 100-acre wooded tracks shooting fence, trees and monuments in a 10-hour day, getting more evidence than running traditional field traverse. It's hard to believe it getting faster. Even if it doesn't get much faster, just having the confidence we are getting good reliable data is nice. I'll probably be calling you in the near future.

Mike. I did a test with the LS+ vs. LS 2 engine. We first started with a T3 base. Later we switched to my CORS Delta base but anyway. Base was wide open. Rovers were in terrible canopy. Using boundary profile I only got 1 shot verified with the LS. The LS+ had 4. We switched spots and it was the same. Going to an older base did slow down the total time it took the LS+ to verify but not much. Also, my LS did much better on the new T3 base. So much so that I put in for an upgrade on the LS and bought a new T3. My opinion. You will see an improvement in the canopy. I don't want to spend all day in the field when it's 100°+.

Thanks Phillip, I appreciate the information. We work in some nasty terrain, so it won't take long for the upgrade to pay for itself.

I read my post and I should have said...By the time 1 shot was verified on the LS the LS+ had 4 verified. Sounded like it could only get 1 shot. That was not the case.
