Wow! What a ride this past year!

On December 19, 2015 John Evers showed up at my house to set up my just-acquired T2 base/Triumph-LS units. We spent the next day firing it up and putting it through some of its paces.

It was clear to me, despite the overwhelming amount of information, that this little baby was going to do things I thought were unachievable. I had no idea...

Still one year out I feel in many ways I have just scratched the surface of what it can do. But what I am doing with it is truly amazing and it has vastly changed and improved the way I do field work. I can't imagine not having it.

I've got to give a shout out to Nate the Surveyor for helping me with my initial questions about moving in this direction. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Javad, you've been fantastic. And the overall desire to improve and accommodate the users is unparalleled.

So, to celebrate my 1 year anniversary, I just purchased my latest addition: I now get to play with a J-Tip.

Happy New Year to all.

Dave.

I'm happy for you @Dave Simolo. I literally feel sorry for folks that don't have a Javad!
I can't imagine going back. At any price.

I am with you Nate, I have stated a few times here how I actually feel sorry for those that continue to purchase other GPS equipment.
Those other equipment manufacturers are so barking up the wrong tree, (even in 2017) when it comes to making GPS equipment useful and practical for ACTUAL surveyors.
I recently saw a surveyor celebrating their purchase of a new expensive pile of that "other" manufacturers equipment and I actually felt bad for them for wasting their money.
I have been asked if I am a salesman for Javad because I am so emphatic in my praise for the equipment when talking to other surveyors.
