I charged my T1+ the night before. it was fully charged. I used if for about 5 minutes the next day. So I took it to a project the next day thinking it was fully charged less 5 mins. Nope. It was deader than a door nail. I could have used it for target practice i was so mad but as the professional I am I remained my cool and said some naughty words and then asked the project owner if his engineer who should be prepared for all circumstances needed an extension cord to charge my T1+ that i just paid big bucks for. My older LS does not do this is this a defect?

I would try charging it again and confirm that it is fully charged. If the battery does not last long then it probably needs replaced.

I also think it is good practice to carry an external 12V backup battery with SAE connector to job sites.
That way if a battery does die unexpectedly, you can connect the backup battery and not have this problem.
