Philip Lancaster was at the Mississippi conference and did an excellent job representing JAVAD.

Thanks for the help. I will let you know how it goes

    DPOS question

I sent a project to support a few minutes ago because it had a point with a stand alone solution. Point #172. I am getting this kind of thing frequently and wanted someone to take a look. Thanks

    T-3

Definitely include the cell modem. Why was it not included in the earlier T3?

    DPOS Down?

Yes, I have been trying to DPOS a couple of jobs from yesterday on 2 different internet connections. All with the same results as Greg and Jeremy

    LS+ internal radio woes

Bill, I feel your pain. Since my T3 purchase and LS+ upgrade last spring, I rarely get a mile out of my 35 watt. By comparison, I regularly get close to 1000' using the rubber duck internal radio. That said, the new engine configuration and the rtpk work wonderfully, and I highly recommend to...

    Javad T-3

Ok, I have had the triumph 3 for a week now and have used it in a variety of environments. I lost the first day due to radio issues, and have not had any luck with using my 35 watt as a repeater. More on that shortly. The first day was in mixed pines and hardwoods following a traverse I had...

What to tell a proposed buyer?

As for the performance, you can't beat it. However, I want to put out a kudos to the support team from Javad. My LS had a hiccup a couple weeks back. John Evers worked tirelessly into the evening trying to fix it. When it came time to send it in for repair, Michael Glutting sent me his personal...

    Radio Issues

Brad, I would check your range at another site. A lot of municipal sites here in MS have a fair amount of interference, especially if there are electric transmission lines or automatic door openers on buildings. Another range killer are the FAA radar sites.

    Code/Float points in a creek/drain......

Darren, I usually will tape a perpendicular offset of a constant value on my side of the ditch/creek, set nails and locate the offsets , say 50' to the thread of the stream. At each end of the ditch, where the boundary comes straight into the ditch I set a rebar at that same offset and again...

    Radio Issues

Thanks for the responses. Matt's picture of the broken cable is mine a good while back. The radio guy for the sheriff's dept repaired the old style connection and added the anchor to the ground plane. Since the cable break, the radio was replaced by Javad several months later. I do not use the...

    Radio Issues

Is anyone having range issues with their radio. My 35 watt radio range has dropped to about 3000' over the past couple of weeks. First, I attributed it to solar flares, but it hasn't improved. Another idea may be heat, I always run the fan which keeps the radio cool and have never turned the...

Where Have You Been with Your LS Lately?

No cool pictures to show, but I checked in yesterday to a traverse I did in 2007 with my Topcon Robot and Sokkia Locus receivers. 2007 vector is N70d07'27"W 5,535.63', Javad vector is N70d07'40"W 5535.59'. The DPOS coordinates on the Northwest corner coordinate are within 0.24' horizontally and...

    Stake out

New question on point staking. In the previous Jfield if you had a point with a weird elevation, you could toggle over to points on the main screen and enter an approximate value. The new Jfield will not allow you to "type in" an elevation. Sometimes my office software will enter an exponential...

T-2 won't connect with Netview anymore

Got my T2 to connect to the windows 10. I had to use the usb drivers with the underscore in the title. Download speed is relatively the same on the same file as earlier.
