    New with the LS Plus...

I have an LS, not a Plus, but I always download a project archive at the end of each day. The base files are in [project name & date].zip/Project/[project name]/Raw Data/.

    Hookup to PC

Tried a different cable, now it's working. I could have sworn I've used that first cable before, but maybe I'm misremembering. Anyway, problem solved!

    Hookup to PC

It's been a year or so since I last downloaded my T2 to my PC using a USB cable. I have some files I want to grab, but when I tried just now I was unable to connect. I reinstalled Netview and the drivers from the Javad site, but the PC doesn't see the receiver ("Receiver was not found or port...

    Jerci & J-Field prerelease

Count me as another JERCI fan. It's not uncommon for me to have to raise the TLS above an 8' chain link fence in order to get a clean signal, and JERCI is a super-easy way to operate the receiver under those conditions. Does RAMS provide all of the same functionality?

    OPUS Beta testing

" I do not know if there are any file size limitations for the beta version of OPUS." There are. Most of the time you can get past it by zipping the file, but if it's really big you may have to decimate.

    OPUS Beta testing

The *.xxo (*.24o for data collected in 2024) has the observation data for all constellations your receiver observed. OPUS provides the ephemeris files that it needs, so as John noted only the *.xxo file has to be submitted to OPUS.

    OPUS Beta testing

Download and install JPS2RIN (no cost). You can run it from the command line if you like, but the easiest way is in Windows Explorer: right-click on the .jps file, select "Show more options" (in Windows 11, anyway), the then select "Convert to RINEX 3.05".

    division of a ROD

While maybe not germane, it's worth noting that 2.354' is 1/2 standard railroad gauge, and a standard add tape (e.g. Lufkin Pioneer) has a marker at the half-gauge point, as I recall.

    JAVAD GNSS Firmware

Fixing the GVX export utility would be a good place to start. It's been broken since the get-go.

T3 Base shut off in the heat?

That's a simplified explanation. In fact, there are average offsets in North and East as well as Up, which is the reason antenna orientation matters. And the antinfo files also model the APC position based on the azimuth and elevation angle of the signal, for use with software that's designed...

T3 Base shut off in the heat?

For RTK use I wouldn't think that Coraplast would have a significant effect. But I note that NGS publishes different antenna parameters for various antenna/radome combinations, so "does not block" isn't necessarily the same as "does not alter."

What size fuse is a 35 watt radio supposed to use?

That would seem to be a design oversight. Reverse polarity protection is relatively inexpensive, and reversing polarity isn't hard to do (just ask Nate!).

    JMT and the Triumph 3NR

I'm afraid it's not the same company since Mr. Ashjaee passed away.

    Exporting data

I use a USB thumb drive. It's not as convenient as having a real-time connection, but I didn't want to give up the credentials to my Google Drive or mess with the setup of something else. One thing to watch out for when using a thumb drive is to make sure you're saving files to a partition...

    VRS RTN Base Position

The whole process is a bit over my head. There's a good discussion of this at RPLS.com by some folks who know a lot more than I do: https://rpls.com/forums/discussion/trimble-access-specify-prs/ But the salient point is that there's little value in having correlation data for an ephemeral...
