I had an opportunity to connect to a Trimble base with my LS plus rover . Every thing connected fine I received the radio but had no base coordinate position . does any one know how I put the base coordinate position in the rover.

Im connecting my LS to my new 435 JL radio through the browser On my iPhone. My problem is its not taking the IP address. The last three numbers won’t populate.It took the the Mac address just fine. Any ideas.

Matt this may be old new. To you but it was found that if you put space in the name of the project or spaces in the name of the base it would not start the base recording.the next update will fix this.

Joe, I just tested the published version.you are correct. I was originally talking about, if you had any spaces in the project name the base didn't start recording, Now I see if you name the base with a space it also will not start base recording. I'm sending this information to our engineers...

Joe, Yes For now don't use spaces. I thought this was repaired in the published version. I have both beta and published on two different LS systems so ill check this out in the morning.I'll forward this information to our engineering teem Thank You Doug

Joe I had the same problem with our beta version,We found that the problem was How I name my projects. please try renaming your project with no spaces.

Matt, The T2 with DGPS correction would work well in the timber industry, There are a lot more customers in the GIS field that are willing to spend under $8000.00 then there are willing to spend $25000.00.

kelly, Yes deep cell are used for trolling motors and can handel complete discharge better then a regular car battery. I recently bought a small tractor battery but I haven't use it to see how long it would last.

Kelly, I have owned a HPT35BT for a few years. No they don't come with a battery and I use a lage deep cell for its power source. The small battery that comes with the 404 wouldn't last long unless you used it at much less wattage.For our type of work I would not buy anything else.

Jim, I would go for the 35 W radio, it's not worth losing yours signal and having to go back and move your base. you can also use a smaller lawn tractor battery which is smaller, or lower the wattage when not needing 35 watt power. Doug
