It varies, but the conditions I typically consider are distance from base and constellation availability. If I'm running my own base and it's close by (within a mile or two), I typically use between 1.0 and 1.5. If I'm using a CRTN network base that's GPS-only and 10 miles away, I might go 2.0 to 2.5.

I usually adjust the factor to produce a GPS delta error factor close to 1.0, but more important than the number is consistency among vectors. Opening up the factor in order to make a few bad vectors look good is like putting lipstick on a pig, and that pig can bite.
