DPOS Recovery

I used my own base today for the first time in many months. When I finished the session I had to pack up in a hurry in order to make an appointment on time, so I instinctively powered down both base and rover without even thinking about DPOS. Is there an easy way to DPOS the file, or do I have to download it from the T2 to my desktop and submit it from there?

P.S. If I had left both the LS and the T2 on, would the DPOS process have worked on its own?

Once you connect to the base with the rover in base rover setup, you will be prompted to Stop Base and then Stop and Download data. After this, you can submit the data to DPOS via LS as normal. Also, if ever for some reason the file doesn't download properly you can press the button at the top right of the base rover screen (the one that specifies the recording interval on the base) and go to manage files. There you can download the file again.

You can also submit through the desktop version of course, but it doesn't sound like you've done anything that would force you to do this.

I see the file, but when I select it and press OK and then OK again with "send to DPOS automatically" checked, there's no indication that anything's happening. Is there some way to check to see if it's actually downloading and sending it to DPOS?

I'd recommend downloading the file again. Go to Base Rover Setup. Connect to base receiver. Press Upper Right window (recording interval). Then select Manage Base Files. Highlight the file you want to download then press the Down Arrow at the top of the screen. The file will then be downloaded over Bluetooth from the base to the LS. You can then wait for the automatic "Service Request Interval" to send the file or go to DPOS and initiate the DPOS solution manually by highlighting the file and pressing the button "DPOS". Then pressing Adjust. I recommend looking carefully at the results from DPOS to make sure the solution looks correct. Do this by pressing the blue field on the right side of the DPOS screen after the solution is returned. Check the error estimates and the CORS sites used.

That worked, thanks! I missed the significance of the down arrow before. I'm not actually interested in the DPOS position as I'm constraining to a nearby CORS, but I wanted to try out DPOS, so this was just for practice.

Meanwhile, I ran into a different problem with the T2 that I've posted on that forum.
