External Antenna connection on TR-3

Where does the external antenna cable connect on a TR-3? Mike

I think I have answered my own question by looking at the ports I do have. I have an UHF port, a cell port, a blue tooth port and a WI-FI port. I have no External antenna port for the Javad GRant antenna I bought and just got around to installing on the house. Does mean I have to send the T-3 to San Jose to install an external antenna port ( I already know the sad truth but I just want somebody else tell me it is so.) Mike

The TR-3 has no external antenna port. Is there no work around for attaching the antenna to the TR-3 to use as indoor base, other than sending it into Javad to get it installed?

My T3 has an external antenna connection.
I connect it to my GRant that's on top of my office.
We don't use it a lot as RTPK doesn't work well on long baselines.
We've had much better success with a local base.

Brian, the jobs we use the base for at the house are within a radius that the baselines aren't long and we have been comfortable with the results. I have been communicating with Matt Sibole and it looks like I am going to need to have San Jose install an external antenna port. Of course I will need to rent aTR-3 and get it up and running before we send the other in. We cannot be down while we wait on installation. I am spoiled and I am dragging the total station if I can help it. Thank you for your reply. Mike

I have a T3 to a GR-ant G5T and since I updated the firmware this morning the LS+ is connected but not getting any base data. What software are you using for your base?

Just connect the LS+ to your T3 as you normally do with Remote Base and start the base. The T3 should automatically recognize the external antenna.
